With an American father and a Mexican mother, I have had the opportunity to experience both cultures throughout my life and have
also had the opportunity to work with English speaking people from many other parts of the world.
I obtained my degree as a Psychologist from the Autonomous University in Mexico (UNAM) and an M.A. in Psychoanalytic Theory from the Center
for Psychoanalytic Study and Research in Mexico City. I participate in ongoing seminars to be able to constantly update and enhance my practice. I am licensed and certified to practice in Mexico.
I offer clinical support, training and seminars for personnel and individuals dealing with culture shock, burn out and vicarious
trauma for different institutions such as the Benjamin Franklin Library in Mexico City as well as for Sin Fronteras and other Human Rights organizations.
I am registered with the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City as a qualified psychologist and psychotherapist.
